Treatments Applied in Our Clinic
Prevention of Tooth Decay
After determining the patient’s caries risk factor, the necessary oral hygiene training is provided. In appropriate individuals, it is aimed to prevent caries formation with methods such as fissure sealants and fluoride applications.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Dental Caries
After intraoral and radiographic examination of the patient, the caries is detected and restored with various restorative materials. After painless cleaning of the caries with cavity preparation under local anesthesia, restoration is completed with composite, amalgam or porcelain materials.
Composite Filling
It is also known as aesthetic filling among the people. Since it is a material compatible with tooth color, it gives very good aesthetic results. While in the past it was applied only on the front teeth, today it can be safely applied on the back teeth as it is strengthened by various methods. The composite material placed in the cavity through the binding agent is hardened with light and then the restoration is completed in the same session with polish application.
Some existing aesthetic problems other than caries can also be solved with composite restoration.
With composite fillings, the gaps between the front teeth (diastemas) that do not look aesthetically pleasing can also be closed in a way that has a very natural appearance. In addition to being financially cheaper, this process has the advantage of being performed without any loss of material in the dental tissues.
